Tennessee Valley Unit 165 (ACBL)

Sterling Silver Award

The Sterling Silver Award recognizes Unit 165 members with 299 masterpoints or fewer and encourages participation in sectional tournaments. It is awarded to the player in Unit 165 who earns the most silver points at Unit-hosted sectional tournaments (excluding STaCs) during the previous calendar year.

There are two eligibility categories:

  1. Players starting the award year with 0–49 masterpoints
  2. Players starting the award year with 50–299 masterpoints

Two awards are given in each category. First-place recipients receive free plays at all Unit sectional or NLM regional tournaments for the award year. Second-place recipients receive one-half price entry (up to $5) for those same events. In the event of a tie, all tied players receive full free plays for the year.

The award is presented at the Pigeon Forge Sectional Tournament.

Note: Eligibility is limited to paid-up ACBL members of Unit 165. The official list includes only members whose ACBL membership is current as of January 1. If you believe you qualify but are not listed, this is likely the reason.

Please review the Current Standings for accuracy. If you notice any errors—either in your omission or in your recorded masterpoint totals—please email us so the issue can be reviewed.
