Sterling Silver Award

The Sterling Silver Award is given to encourage members with 299 points or less to attend sectional tournaments. It is presented to the Unit 165 player who receives the most silver points at sectional tournaments (excluding STaCs) held within the Unit in the previous calendar year. There are  two categories:

  1. Players who began the award year with 0–49 points
  2. Players who began the award year with 50–299 points

Two awards are presented in each category. The award is free plays at all Unit sectional or NLM regional tournaments for first place finishers in each category and one half (not to exceed $5) play for second place finishers in each category for the year in which the award is presented. In case of a tie, both players will receive full free plays for the year.

The award is presented at the Pigeon Forge Sectional Tournament.

Note: The award is only open to paid-up ACBL members of Unit 165 and the list is comprised of those people whose membership is current as of January 1, 2022. If you’re not on the list and believe you should be, this may be the reason.

Please check the Current Standings for accuracy. If you think there is an error, either in your omission from the list or your masterpoint winnings, please email and we’ll find the problem.
